Summer 2010 New Class Series Starts Thursday, August 5 and Friday, August 6 Come have some fun this year- Join your friends and learn to dance!  Ballroom 1- For Newcomers Our beginner group series class is designed for first time dancers.  Worry free- you will be taught everything you need to know to join us on the dance floor. The beginner class curriculum includes: waltz, foxtrot, rumba, and swing.  The dance instruction is formatted to progress the students level of dance. Lessons are taught by a nationally certified instructor. Partners are not required  as we rotate partners throughout the class (singles and couples are welcome!)                                                                                                                                                   Series will last one hour including 10 minutes of dance community news, curriculum and calendar updates. The lesson will include an additional 25 minute practice session with music and coaching.  7:00 PM on Friday  Nights Enroll Now Ballroom 2 and 3 A continuation of the curriculum from Ballroom 1 with the addition of Tango. Must have completed Ballroom 1 or other similar training with approval of instructor.                                  Ballroom 2 - Thursday Nights at 7:00 PM (1/2 gym)  (must have completed Ballroom 1) Ballroom 3 - Thursday Night at 8:05 PM (1/2 gym) (must have completed Ballroom 2)   Repeats for Ballroom 1, 2 and 3 are half price ($30)!                         Bronze 1 Intermediate level social dancing builds on techniques and patterns learned in Beginner Series with the addition of Cha Cha.   Bronze 1 - Friday Nights at 8:05 PM (must have completed Ballroom 3) Bronze 2 - Friday at 8:05 PM (must have completed Bronze 1)   7 Class Series Cost: $60 per person for above mentioned curriculum series.  This summer only - 1/2 price repeats for Bronze 1 and 2! Starting Wednesday August 4! Taught by Nyla Blacknell! Latin Social Dance 1 - basic ballroom steps in Merengue and LA style Salsa (kinda like swing).
